  1. Aspects of the Phonology of Ụkwụànì: This study seeks to establish the sound system of Ụkwụànì language. Ụkwụànì is an Igboid language spoken in Ndokwa Local Government Area (LGA) of Delta State, Nigeria. The work was started in 2008. Data for the analysis were drawn from fluent adult Ụkwụànì native speakers resident in Ụkwụànì. The consonant and vowel systems of the language as well as the syllable structure have been analysed and established. This project should be completed by 2012.
